By a little change, we create a better difference

What are the things I/my family do to save energy at home? Well, my family and I compost our leftover foods to fertilize our gardens and we changed almost all of our light bulbs to CFL lights. Since our family is active and always having a busy schedule, we never really watch TV which is good for the environment and for us. In the summer, we hang out our clothes on a clothes line since it's so beautiful outside.

To start off this little change for a better difference, I think we could use changes like:
  1. Use shopping tote-bags at the grocery store
  2. Shorten shower times
  3. Defrost frozen foods in fridge to reduce energy
  4. Think of what we need before we open the door to prevent heat loss
  5. Turn TV off when it's not being watched. Limit the amount of TV you watch
Hopefully this will make my family more green than it already is. I'll let you know!
